Day 01: Ha Noi – Nghia Lo (260km)
We depart from Hanoi to Nghia Lo in the morning. Have lunch in Yen Bai and arrive in Nghia Lo in the afternoon. We may stop to take photos and visit villages on the way. And after checking-in and having a short rest, we visit Thai people’s village, have dinner and enjoy many activities with native people like cultural exchange art performance (Xòe dance)
Day 02: Nghia Lo – Mu Cang Chai – Sapa (270km)
The second day, we go to Mu Cang Chai. On the way to Mu Cang Chai, we stop to visit beautiful villages, take photos at beautiful sightseeing, especially terraced fields in La Pan Tan, Che Cu Nha and Ze Su Phinh (the only one terraced fields was rated as national vestige in October 18th 2007) and villages of Hmong, Dao, Thai, etc, with their colorful costumes. We arrival Mu Cang Chai at noon, and have lunch there. Then we cross Than Uyen to Sapa and spend the night at Sapa (Chaulong ***)
Day 03: Sapa (50km)
In the morning, we visit Lao Chai, Ta Van villages and ancient stone circle. We have lunch at villages. Then, in the afternoon, we are back to Sapa to visit Ham Rong Mountain, shopping in markets and center of Sapa. We still sleep in Sapa (Chaulong ***)
Day 04: Sapa – Bac Ha (200km)
From Sapa, we visit Xin Cheng market. Then, we have 2 options. The first is going by bus near Gia village, then going on foot (3 hours) to Ta Cu Ty and sleeping there. The second is visiting villages at Xin Cheng and Lung Phinh, and then back to Bac Ha. We sleep at Bac Ha (Bac Ha hotel, Cong Phu hotel, Confu Hotel ***)
Day 05: Bac Ha - Pan House (Thong Nguyen – Hoang Su Phi)
We have 2 choices. We visit schools at Ta Cu Ty, go on foot (3.5 hours) to concrete bridge near Coc Pai (2km away from Coc Pai to ancient stone circle). Then we are back to Coc Pai by bus to have lunch. In the afternoon, we go to Thong Nguyen – Hoang Su Phi and sleep at Pan House Resort. Or we have another choice. Departing from Bac Ha, crossing Pho Rang, Nghia Do, Bac Quang, having lunch, we arrive at Thong Nguyen – Hoang Su Phi in the afternoon. After visiting Thong Nguyen, we spend the night at Pan House Resort.
Day 06: Thong Nguyen – Ha Giang – Yen Minh – Dong Van (250km + 50km if visit Lung Cu)
We depart to Dong Van in the next day. After taking photos at beautiful villages on the way, we have lunch at Yen Minh and visit historical vestige the Vuong’s House (and Lung Cu flag tower). Dinner and overnight in Dong Van (Hoang Ngoc hotel, Khai Hoan hotel)
Day 07: Dong Van – Meo Vac – Ha Giang (or Thong Nguyen) (180 km – 280 km)
We go on foot to visit Dong Van Ancient Street then depart to Meo Vac in the morning. On the way, we visit Ma Pi Leng. We cross Meo Vac then back to Yen Minh to have lunch then go to Ha Giang (Thong Nguyen). Overnight in Ha Giang (Huy Hoan Hotel **) or Thong Nguyen (Pan House Resort)
Day 08: Ha Giang (Thong nguyen) – Hanoi (320 km – 290 km)
The last day, we come back to Hanoi. Having lunch at Tuyen Quang, we arrive Hanoi in the evening or we can continue another program (e.x: overnight at Bac Ninh Phoenix Hotel ****- then go to Ha Long the next day)
