|  This morning leave Hanoi by minibus or car, enjoy the scenery of rural Vietnam and share stories with your guide on the way.
- 8:20 am: 20 minute stop at a large pagoda on the outskirts of Hanoi.
- 8:30 am: Arrive at the village with a warm greeting from the host family and ready the bikes. The morning ride is guided through picturesque and interesting places. Get a glimpse of the rice fields, visit a pagoda, and the village assembly hall, then cool down along the riverside. We can make stops upon your request anywhere and everywhere for those memorable photos or some added exploration. Our guide will be enthusiastic to help you talk with the local people so that you too can learn about their life.
- 11:30 am: Just before noon we will break for lunch at our host’s home, relaxing and hanging around in Vietnamese style.
- 12:30 pm: Back on the bikes for some more two-wheeled adventure to explore the countryside. Several short stops for guide stories and short breaks. Bike along the river dike, from mulberry fields to brick fields, p assing by temples and war memorials.
- 3:00 pm: Visit a nationally renowned pagoda.
- 5:30 pm: Arrive back in Hanoi where your tour ends at your hotel.

- What to bring: Sun hat and sun glasses, sun screen, camera extra film and batteries, raincoat, good shoes or sandals, waterproof day bag, power bars or energy snacks, sense of adventure.
