The Green Park Boutique Hotel is situated next to Nong Chanh Park in the heart of Vientiane and only a few minutes from the city's tourist attractions and shopping district. The 34 contemporary guest rooms are furnished using traditional Lao materials with a private balcony or terrace overlooking the swimming pool or the lush tropical garden. The hotel also has a spa and a restaurant with an open-air terrace and bar. Many of the things which make the Green Park Boutique Hotel special are what attracts people to Laos in the first place - the promise of peace and quiet, friendly people, and a gentle and generous attitude to hospitality. This boutique hotel reflects Laos' atmosphere of serenity and a leisurely pace of life.
The Green Park Boutique Hotel's guest rooms combine the high standards of a luxury hotel with special touches and features to create a boutique feel. Lush Lao textiles accent the hardwood floors and crisp white bed linens, exuding a warm welcoming vibe in all of the 34 rooms. Guests can relax with a traditional massage at the Champa Lao Spa or by lazily floating in the hotel's pool, both of which are situated in the hotel's luxuriant garden.
The sweeping tiled roofs and sala style of the hotel's buildings are redolent of the temples and palaces of the ancient Lao kingdom. Interiors feature the hotel's own collection of beautiful Lao silverware and copper artifacts as well as careful use of locally sourced materials to emphasize and enhance the genuine Lao atmosphere. A restaurant and lounge offer fresh cuisine, cold drinks, and a casual atmosphere in which to enjoy them.

When to go?
From November to February the weather is cool and dry while March to June sees temperatures soaring in to the high 30s (Celcius). July to October tend to be very rainy, washing out some roads thus making rural areas inaccessible. The Lao are very sociable and if you happen to be in the country during one of their festivals, you are sure to get caught up in the lively atmosphere! Pii Mai, Lao New Year, is in April and the celebrations include parades and water fights. The magnificent That Luang Festival falls in November and thousands of people and monks travel from remote villages to participate in the religious celebration. Several times a year Vientiane has boat racing competitions, where long wooden boats are raced up and down the Mekong River.
Where is it?
Settha Palace is located in the center of Vientiane near the Nam Phu fountain, a few minutes walk from the town's main shopping and dining area. The Wattai International Airport is a ten minute drive from the hotel and the land border with Thailand is just a half hour drive.

Visit the ancient temples of Wat Si Saket and Wat Phra Keow. Climb to the top of Patuxai, Laos' version of the Arc de Triomphe. Learn about Lao textiles at Carol Cassidy silk shop. Wander along the Mekong River. Swim in the beautiful hotel pool.
In keeping the hotel's understated elegance, the Settha Palace's restaurants offer delicious menus in a refined setting. La Belle Epoque Bar & Restaurant is the main dining venue.
