Trip Details:

Day 01: Bangkok
Arrive at Bangkok, Thailand by air. Upon arrival in Bangkok check into your hotel for an overnight stay. Novotel Bangkok International Airport

Day 02: Bangkok - Phnom Penh (B, L)
Today we board our flight to Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia. After lunch, we have a guided city tour, including the National Museum with its beautiful collection of Khmer artworks, the Royal Palace with its combination of Asian and French architecture, the Silver Pagoda boasting a floor of solid silver and a visit to market filled with local delicate handicrafts and silverwork. Raffles Hotel Le Royal

Day 03: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap (B, L)
Early this morning, we take a short flight to Siem Reap, where we begin our explorations of Angkor Temple complex, considered to be the most spectacular sights in all of Asia.

The Khmer Temples of Angkor Wat , which was built in the 12th century , are one of the world wonders. Khmer culture, which held its greatest power from the 8th through the 12th century, had its greatest flowering in Angkor. Initially Hindu and later Buddhist, the exquisite sculpture and bas-relief work that adorn the temples and buildings of the complex recount the myth and mysticism of the once great culture. Social decline, brought on by war, and the encroachment of the surrounding rain forest cloaked Angkor in the a veil of mystery that kept Angkor a secret until the early 20th century when a French adventurer discovered the ruins beneath the dense undergrowth of the forest during a lighting storm. Victoria Angkor Hotel

Day 04: Angkor Wat (B, L)
We continue our explorations of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, and the Bayon Temple.
Bayon, situated in the center of the town of Ankor Thom, is the Buddhist shrine with its 49 towers and huge portraits of meditating Buddha facing the four geographical directions. In the afternoon, we will also visit the magnificent Ta Prohm, Anteay Kdei, Srah Srang and Kravan Temples and Preah Khan.
Victoria Angkor Hotel

Today we drive to Cu Chi and visit the amazing complex of underground tunnels. There are more than 200 km of underground tunnels, comprising a main axis system with many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters and other tunnels. We continue to Tay Ninh, centre of the Cao-Dai religion founded in 1926, a combination of Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism and Confucianism. The Temple draws its architectural influence from both Europe and the Orient and the style is quite extraordinary. You will have the opportunity to watch the worshippers in their white long tunics during noon mass. Return to the city, we will visit the Ben Thank Market where we are able to shop for souvenirs.  Park Hyatt Hotel
